Seville is the capital of Andalusia and a city made for walking, as long as you choose the season well. Summer afternoons are very hot, so spring and autumn are the seasons we suggest.
Seville Cathedral is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. You climb its bell tower, the Giralda, once a minaret, by a series of ramps instead of stairs. Next door, the Real Alcázar is a royal palace still in use, with Mudéjar halls and gardens that appeared in Game of Thrones.
The Triana district is known for its ceramics and for flamenco. Plaza de España and the Metropol Parasol are also worth your time.
